In short: Converto does not collect, store or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
Who we are
Converto is published by Meltemi Apps, the trading name of Evangelos Neroladakis, an independent developer based in the United Kingdom. You can contact us at support@meltemiapps.co.uk.
Information we collect
None. Converto does not ask for your name, email address, location, contacts or any other personal information, and we have no servers that receive data from the app.
Information kept on your device
To work offline, Converto saves your chosen currencies and the most recently downloaded exchange rates on your device only. This information never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Exchange rate data
To fetch current rates, the app connects to the Frankfurter service (frankfurter.app), which publishes reference rates from the European Central Bank. As with any internet request, that service receives your device's IP address in order to respond. Converto sends nothing else, and we do not receive or store that request. Frankfurter's own practices are described on its website.
Analytics, advertising and tracking
Converto contains no analytics, advertising or tracking software, and does not track you across other apps or websites.
Children
Converto collects no personal data from anyone, including children under 13.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you have any question about your data protection rights under UK or EU law, contact us and we will reply within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
